Get ready for the title in the EA Madden franchise. Madden NFL 10 will be released on all platforms and will kick off another year of finger blisters for dedicated Maddenites.
Simulation will be key to this years title, EA plans on scaling back the arcadey feel of past iterations. For example instead of the AI using the same plays, the new adaptive AI will allow the computer to adjust their style of play mid game to stop you in action. The AI will be able to follow the quarterbacks eyes to stop his passes. This awareness carries over to the offensive side as well. Quarterbacks physically turn their heads to their receivers. On top of all that you will be able to drag defenders, battle for loose balls and drag defenders as you push for first down yardage.
The details in this game are extremely authentic, next gen systems are allowing EA to push the extremes of what we have seen in past Maddens. Numbers on helmets, Super Bowl patches, team specific scenery, animated towels, logos on equipment, seven refs on field at all time and so much more. These are the things true fanatics look for to make them feel closer to the real deal. If you enjoy sports betting, you can bet you friends that this title will be packed with the most details out of any football game on the shelf this year.
Push detail even further, drafting has be highly improved with a new risk/reward mechanic that allows sleeper picks and draft busts. In game play young players will be become better if they perform at a high level, while older players will decline if they make a few too many wrong moves.
One of the biggest graphical additions to the game is the new depth of field effect, players near the camera appear sharper, those in the background more blurry thus feeling more like an actual sports broadcast.
Madden NFL 10 looks to keep long time fans and graphic junkies happy with the realistic touch ups to the greatest sports franchise of all time. Keep your eye out for more information on Madden NFL 10 as EA releases further details. There is only one thing football fans love more then, cold beer, super bowl chicken wings and NFL betting and that is Madden.
